"Malefic Truth Dragon" |
Hello fellow members of the Yu-Gi-Oh! blogging community, today I will be presenting you with a first draft of a Malefic deck. But first, I shall bore you with a little bit of back story. A good friend of mine recently took up Yu-Gi-Oh! again after I dragged him back into it. His Watt deck was... sub par to say the least. So being the remotely kind guy I am, I offered to help him with a Malefic deck. I happily obliged. This is what I came up with.

Blue-Eyes White is dead if you draw it, and it makes at least one of it's Malefic counterparts useless.
ReplyDeleteI'd recommend against using it in threes, at least.
They are both in threes =P
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget that Trade-In and Allure of Darkness help with the consistency.
But what are you trying to draw into with those? Your Blue-Eyes White Dragons, thus insuring that you have nigh-useless Malefic BEWDs? Or do you hope that you draw Malefic BEWDs before their light counterparts?
ReplyDeleteYou can always tune your Sin BEWD with Parallel Gear, without using the Light one.
ReplyDeleteWell, yeah. That's why you see builds running a single Malefic BEWD. In triple? Never.
ReplyDeleteUm what about Rainbow Dragon and Malefic Rainbow Dragon... That one goes from the hand... sure you lose draw power but Malefic World covers that with searching. What about running some Viruses? It's really fun to Deck Dev and then drop Sin Cyber End just because you can... or Eradicator Epedimic and have no traps stop your 4000 Beaters for 3 turns...
ReplyDeleteThe viruses aren't bad, but Rainbow/Malefic Rainbow have the problem of Rainbow being a dead draw. Sure, it won't make Malefic Rainbow dead, but...
ReplyDeleteEEV doesn't sound like a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteSadly, the person who I have designed this deck is terribly inexperienced. Sigh, such a shame.
